A beautiful and rare vintage case dating back to around 1940. This is crafted from lovely chocolate brown leather with four solid brass locks and a vibrant red lining. This kind of case is known as a “double briefcase” but we believe that it may have been originally used as a sample case for J. LYONS AND CO LTD - perhaps a travelling salesman selling tea and such. More recently, it looks like this has been used as an artists case. Absolutely beautiful piece and extremely unusual. measurements in cms: H18 D28 W45 |
