A lovely vintage traveling case or hat box is made of vellum leather, which was popular among Hollywood stars in the 1930s. It has one large compartment and eight smaller ones. Original strong handle. A metal label inside the lid that reads "Reg. design 781856. THE TRINITY. Cruising case. Patent No 414460. Foreign and colonial patents pending. Made in England." This rare and attractive case has a lovely lining and is still very usable for transporting or storing belongings. It's a beautiful and practical piece of social history.
