
very rare example of a revelation suitcase made by revelation of Piccadilly. the case was made circa 1930 by this iconic mayfair london maker of vintage luggage. true pioneers of the luggage business as the case features a early patented example of engineering genius. the case can expand in height to allow you to carry almost twice the amount as normal. perfect for when you go away on holiday and end up coming home with more then you left with! once filled to the desired level you can push down on the case to tighten up the load. it was also from this the famous theatrical display of forcing a case closed came from. these cases are not easy to find and in vellum leather even rarer. this one has nickel plated solid brass silvertone locks, hinges and fittings. the vellum leather has patinated beautifully over time
