This attractive and rare example has It has a lovely watersilk lining and fastens with a chrome-plated brass locks. Delightfully, it still bears the remnants of various ocean-liner labels collected in the course of its travels (including the Blue Star Line, where it’s previous owner was a first class passenger to Lisbon!). It remains very usable, be it for transporting or storing your most cherished shoes. A beautiful and practical piece of social history!
